Then It Hit Me!

By Kay Heitsch

Yesterday our neighbors came over and witnessed our signatures on our Advanced Directive. If you're unfamiliar with these papers, they are instructions on how you want your health care and death handled.
Most of the questions were easy to answer. However, some had me wondering what my life would be like in the future.
I like to be active. I certainly do not want to be a burden to anyone. So I wondered what I would do to feel like I was of benefit to others that would give my life meaning if I lived to be very old.
Then it hit me! God is my employer. He has a beautiful plan for my whole life. It won't matter how old I am. God will always have something for me to do to benefit others and make my life worth living.
