Something For The Jar!

by Kay Heitsch

On the first 1st of January, start the year with an empty jar. Every time something good happens to you, write it down and place the piece of paper in the pot. On the last day of the year, see how many gifts God has given you!
Here's something that happened yesterday. Bill and I went to Kroger. Bill had a lot of pop bottles he wanted to turn in. When we got to the store, Bill went to the bottle return, and I started to shop. After we were finished shopping, we were at the check out to pay, and Bill did not have the bottle slip.

It seemed almost crazy to walk back around the store, but after checking out, we did. Lo, and behold, we found the bottle slip!

The manager of the store was in the area, and we told him what we were doing. When we found the slip the manager had a surprised look on his face! He laughed and said, "What's the odds of that ever happening?"

Well, I don't care about odds. When we started looking, I asked God to help us find the slip, and He did!
