Yesterday at Planet Fitness, a man I've seen for over a year came up to me and asked a question. He wanted to know how I could be happy every day. I told him it was a "Choice" I made each day. He said he wanted to be happy, too, and ask if I did anything to help myself make that choice. I explained to him that I spent time each morning with the Lord. He said, "You must be retired to do that." I told him when I had foster children, I got up at 4:00 am to spend time with the Lord.
I've found if something is significant, I'll find the time to do it. Spending each day in quiet time with the Lord is a vital necessity for me, and it helps me make the "choice" to be happy. Lord.
