Many years ago, I had a plan to go to a Positive Thinking seminar in Cincinnati, Ohio. I put the brochure on the counter in the kitchen and prayed that I would be able to go to Cincinnati if it was God's will. Well, I was not able to attend. I was very disappointed.
A few weeks later, I received a call telling me I was invited to attend the Positive Thinking seminar in Atlanta, Georgia. At this seminar, I would be able to meet Dr. Peale in person as he would be giving me his Norman V. Peale award. All expenses paid!
I couldn't believe it! So I got the brochure out and looked at it closely. Right under the Cincinnati seminar was Atlanta, Georgia. Since I lived in Ohio at the time, I never even noticed Atlanta, Georgia.
Today's Bible verse says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
The LORD has a good plan for our lives. His plans give us a future and hope.
