I have learned that life will be exciting if you ask God to teach you. His ways may differ from what we would think, but they work. We can read the Bible and find the best paths to take, but God will show us certain things that are only for us individually.
When Brandon started to stutter after Todd died is a perfect example. I didn't know what to do, so I prayed and asked God to show me what to do. God put in my heart to bury a dead bird. Now, if that didn't sound ridiculous, I don't know what does. But it worked, and it was the answer to my prayer. I have written about this incident in "In Loving Memory of Todd."
Our Bible verse is taken from Psalm 25. This psalm is one I claim for myself personally. It says, "Show me your ways, LORD; teach me your paths." Psalm 25:4 NIV
Over the years, I have read Psalm 25 over and over. I want the LORD to teach me and show me the best paths. He has yet to fail me.
